The VTCT Level 4 Certificate in Micropigmentation is an advanced qualification designed for beauty professionals and medical practitioners who wish to develop a career in professional micropigmentation and cosmetic tattooing.

This course is designed to develop the practical skills and theoretical knowledge required to perform advanced micropigmentation procedures used to enhance facial features and create long-lasting makeup effects. Learners will also gain knowledge in client consultation, treatment planning, colour theory, health and safety, and tailoring procedures to meet individual client needs.

The course is delivered through a combination of practical classroom-based training and flexible home study, making it ideal for learners balancing training alongside work or other commitments.

Learners will also be expected to complete additional home study, case studies.

Our experienced tutors provide ongoing support throughout the course and aim to create a professional, supportive and confidence-building learning environment during both training and assessment days.

  • Punctuality is essential. Please arrive on time for your scheduled session. Late arrivals may disrupt training and, in some cases, may not be permitted to participate.

  • No additional guests allowed. Friends, family members, or companions are not permitted to attend sessions.

  • This includes babies and young children. For health, safety, and concentration reasons, we are unable to accommodate infants or children within the academy or treatment rooms.

  • Professional conduct is expected at all times. Our sessions are conducted in a clinical and educational setting and require full focus from all participants.
